AnonymousGuestHi everyone
I’d like to ask about the Wu style of Taiji.
Bruce often talks about it in relation to lower back problems, but what if a person has middle/upper back problems as well?
Is the Wu style still an effective healing method, or would one have to do both Wu and Yang style to heal their back? Thanks
PeterPS: I do Xingyi and I’m beginning to learn the Wu style, and I do Bruce’s Qigong set for back, shoulder, neck pain

AnonymousGuestThe Old Yang Style Tai Chi is better for middle and upper back. It’s great for stretching out physical tissues of body, relaxing of musculature so that bones can settle back into proper alignment.
The Old Yang Style materials may be released to the public later this year but if you are interested in purchasing the entire program in bulk for $997 if you are interested. It’s an 18 month program.
Please let us know if you interested.
We hope this is helpful.
Warm Regards,
Energy Arts Team

AnonymousGuestI see.
That’s unfortunately a little above my budget at the moment. I’ll just have to hope Xingyi will do the trick for upper back for now until I can learn the old Yang Style.
Well, if nothing else it will be a great experiment to see how well can Xingyi heal spinal issues.
And if not I’ll be sure to look into Bruce’s Old Yang Style program.Thank you for replying!
Best

AnonymousGuestI took the Program when it was run in 2015. I has given me the framework to resolve some Lower back and shoulder pain. It also at that run, had the Heaven and Earth set included which was very instrumental in alleviating my joint issues.
If they installment plan the course it might help with the cost.
It is very much worth the money. It is as advertised, a very in depth course in how the energetics of Yang Style Tai Chi work. I study and practice daily.May 29, 2018 at 8:22 am #136969
