AnonymousGuestAfter I completed D&T online course, then decided to get the DVD. I want to first of all say the DVD added a lot to my practice. Both mediums have their pros and cons but I felt the DVD added a different angle to the practice. Also watching Bruce do an advanced version of the 7 steps was incredible. How many times have I heard him say something only to say to myself “Of course.” It always seems so obvious AFTER hearing him point it out. Now which one is best? In MHO if you don’t know the qigong then the online course would be better for you. A lot more attention to the minutia of the moves. But if you’ve done the course, do yourself a favor and add the DVD…and the volume 2 of the book. No, I don’t get a commission for plugging these products, but the increased quality in my workout is worth every penny I paid for these items: 2 books, online course, and DVD.

AnonymousGuestHi James,
Best wishes for the New Year first of all.
Where does book 1 of D&T fit in the online course?
I am still going on with week 1 (should be at week 3), but I plant to take my time in learning all the aspects given in the course.Jan

AnonymousGuestYou can consider Volume 1 of the D&T books to essentially be the textbook for the online course. It covers in written form many details on how to do the physical movements of the set. It also includes the breathing patterns for each movement, which the online course does not cover.

AnonymousGuestI’ve just completed the on line course with Bill Ryan and Co
and I would say this is worth doing for people starting out learning the D&T qigong set.I have Bruce’s DVD and both volumes of the book, yet to go through.
I thought I would go through Bruce’s talks on each move which is available after completion of week 10 with Bill, then later go onto Bruce’s DVD and get round to reading the books also.
Thanks to Bill, & Co and to Bruce Frantzis of course
for being here at this time.
