    Hello everyone,

Before joining the training circle (yesterday ). I was working on my second round of the Taoist meditation circle (month 8). Would it be reccommended to continue the TMC and apply what I learn within the Energy Arts training circle or keep it separate?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

    Hi, kevin.

Here’s my two cents. I did the meditation circle practices exclusively for the entire 16 months. It was powerful and completely transformed my sitting practice. The. I resumed my regular dissolving, which was much more powerful and effective with the things I gained from the med circle. There are so many levels and so many things to learn that it can be kind of overwhelming, but I found the solid foundation from the med circle greatly accelerated all my practices. That’s what I recommend, but that’s just me. It might be different for you.

    Good luck with your practice.

    Best wishes,
    Matthew

    Hi Matthew,

I guess I was wondering about continuing the TMC or pausing for 6 months while I do this training circle. Reason being because I am doing the TMC now for the second time and the this training circle is new material for me. I know both will be helpful and I feel like even though I’m doing TMC for the second time it feels like the first.

Another thing I was thinking was to do both but I wouldn’t want to lessen the effectiveness as a result of dividing my time between the two. Any further thoughts?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Hi, Kevin. Since its the second time through you could perhaps use what you’ve learned to follow the training circle practices. I still work with the tmc practices, especially noticing the triggers for distraction. I think one thing you might need to decide for yourself is how much of these practices you “own” and can apply to suit your particular situation and temperament. However. I don’t think I know enough to give you an answer. Here’s a question for Bruce.

    Best wishes,
    Matthew
