energy gates and joint replacement

Hi All,

Hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery are common. I’ve asked a few people what happens to the chi flow through/around a replaced joint. Answers include: ‘the chi finds its way around the artificial joint and reconnects in the same way that the body’s physiological processes do’ ; ‘even though the joint has been removed the energetic channels and gates continue to exist and function witin that area, as in phantom limbs following amputation’; and ‘the chi flows through the prosthesis in the same way that a martial artist projects their chi through a weapon’. Can anyone (Bruce or one of his seniors?) provide an authoritative answer?
