AnonymousGuestHi,
I was wondering if the water method is ‘better’ than the fire method.
I realise that Energyarts teaches the water method, and advocates it, but, apart from that, can one approach claim to be a better or superior method?

AnonymousGuestHi guy
Better? I dunno about that…
But I’ve had opportunity to interact with a variety of people working from a fire orientation, and here is what I see.
Quick growth, followed by wobble and then they get stuck.
That’s what happened when I used the fire method as well, I’d get a big hit early on, then later my limitations would stick me.
I’ve also seen several people addicted to fire method energy development, and it’s not smooth or balanced. In a couple of cases, you might use the term kundalini psychosis, the practices did not help them become integrated, rather the opposite.
I notice that fire is fundamentally a separator, it takes matter and seperates it into simpler molecules, releasing light and heat.
Water methods on the other hand, tends to unify things and engender long term growth.
My experience of water method is that of smooth and gradual development and integration.
Since integration is a big goal for me, water method is my preference.
You could say
A little fire warms things up
A lot of fire burns things downBruce talks about this topic in some detail in his meditation books, might be worth the time to read in depth, eh?
Anyway, that’s my 2 cents, hope this helps.
