AnonymousGuestI realize there are other posts discussing the ‘Five Rings’ used to correct collapsed (pronated) arches. Does anyone in the community have specific information on who currently teaches the ‘Five Rings’ and/or where it can be learned?

AnonymousGuestHi Sonny,
I was shown how to do the five rings in the past by Paul Cavel, Dorothy Fitzer, and Alistair Shanks. (I too had collapsed arches) Try looking at the instructor page and see if you can contact someone who lives in your area.
Good Luck,

AnonymousGuestCan’t say anything about the 5 Rings, but I had collapsed arches until I did a series of poses from Pete Egoscue’s Pain Free: A Revolutionary Method of Stopping Chronic Pain. I had serious back pain for eighteen years. As a side effect of doing Egoscue’s poses, I lost my flat feet. One of the causes were with improper hip alignment. When I laid on my back with my feet (pointed toward the ceiling) on a card table chair, thighs vertical, calves horizontal, I could feel my arches “drawing up.” I love to look at the imprints of my wet feet when I come out of the shower. Awesome. One of the most important books in my life, for which I am deeply grateful. Yes, and I healed my back or my back was able to heal itself when it was properly aligned.
