AnonymousGuestI am not using the Guided Practice recordings any differently than the Instructional recordings. Does anyone use them during a meditation session? Other than the occasional “inhale” and “exhale” I don’t find them guiding me through a session. They are very informative but the title seems misleading to me.

AnonymousGuestJoan – ditto everything you said. There is something about them that just seems awkward as a guided meditation. I just take the info, and arrange my meditation around that, in a way that works for me. It’s nice to know someone else feels the same way!

AnonymousGuest…………yes, I agree 100% – the ‘guided’ elements are often brimming with info. yet quite ‘clunky’ to follow to the letter. E.g., I would certainlly struggle to match the breathing instructions exactly as timed on month 8 part 4. Throughtout I’ve often found myself inhaling when Bruce says exhale and exhaling when he says inhale! Personally, I let the information ‘wash over’ in the background and follow that emerging themes, and then continue to practice after the guidance subsides.

AnonymousGuestI do pretty much what Colin describes. I did find part 3 of month 8 especially powerful, but other than that I try to sort of memorize the instructions the first few times and then let the guidance move to the background. Can’t wait for month 9.
