As I was re-watching one of the DVD’s, Bruce mentioned something for the beginners to keep filed away for later, and I’d just like to make sure I’m filing away this tidbit correctly.

He mentions that at the more advanced level, after you can get your head to be centered over the central channel, the next challenge is to align all of that with your foot. I’m wondering- what area of the foot are you aligning that over? The weighted foot? Any particular part of the foot- dead center, a particular acupuncture point? Any particular point in the step that it’s supposed to line up? (feet together, during some transition, foot forward, etc?)

This might still be a ways off for me in terms of practice, but I find that sometimes I’ll spontaneously adjust myself into a correct posture, then I’ll fall out of it again and I gotta get through some more practice before I can consistently find and stabilize that posture. As for this one, I’d just like to know which is the right direction to go.

    Thanks!
