    Hi,

I have been doing Dragon and Tiger now for about one and half years. Thank you for the great program! I just realized that in the movement 3 and 5 when you circle your hands to back side of your body it feels like your back is lengthening and lower back is to be filled. Am I doing it correctly?

    Best Regards

    Hi,
I have also been doing for a few years and I felt that after sometimes we tend to forget what we are doing and can even miss the key ingredients. We hence keep checking our self and I am still trying to learn more.
If you felt your body lengthening and more energized then it is probably a good thing.
I understand the circling around the waist is a circling around the belt meridian which has to do with the ming meng (a gate of life) and this meridian is also linking up all the other meridian that goes up and down the body. Hence for movement 3 it is probably pulsing or charging up the kidney which is also there. Movement 5 is a bounce and going around the waist before bouncing is probably to free up more of the meridian related and allow the qi to be drop into the heel of the feet.
I will be happy to know if there is a better understanding.

    Best Regards.

Hi Daniel and thank you for your answer!

I’m following the meridian lines when I am doing D&T. I just realized the lengthening and filling the lower back and thought if others have noticed the same. I haven’t searched this movement.

It really feels good. The circulation and grounding feel better so I have thought that maybe this is the correct way. The filling of the low back relates to the ming men if I have understood correctly and the lengthening is related to stretching all meridian lines of your torso (again if I have understood this correctly).

D&T seems to contain so many different layers that some times I am wondering if this feeling is real or not, correct or not. But also D&T seems to be very robust and it is teaching you all the time if you just allow movement to happen. I am still only beginner so I hope that you can get the point from my writings ;-)

    Best Regards
