Step #5 of Liu’s overview is to find the one change. I now believe this is equivalent to saying make the entire circulation of fluids conscious. To quote Bruce “It doesn’t come cheap.”
At one end of the circle the vasodilation of the arterial walls will be creating an expansive pressure throughout the entire body. At the other, the lymphatic system will be using that expansion to facilitate its pumping action (extrinsically) and adding to it intrinsically. The blood supply is propelled to the cells the venous return receives it and begins returning blood to the heart. The blood is pumped to the blood brain barrier, filtered by the choroid plexus to create cerebral spinal fluid which is then circulated through the spine. Rinse and repeat. All at once.
The end result is being able to equally open and close at the same time. Forms like the Lake Palm Change are designed to help you find the mechanism and make it useful and strong. All of the pieces are eventually done simultaneously. You have to train a very long time to make each step conscious.
