AnonymousGuestHi,
Thanks for a great course! I had one question though. I’m a little overweight and wanted to do other exercises too to help with that – is there any advice on how to mix D&T with weights or aerobic routines? It seems like it would be a good complement to either the warm up or cool down and recovery to me – for me probably more the latter, to re-centre after doing something else.
I was interested in the views from the instructors and experiences of all here.
Thanks,
Craig

AnonymousGuestI’d say you’re on the right track given my experience, using D&T as either a warm-up or warm-down. I’d also be interested in other people’s experiences.

AnonymousGuestHi Craig
I do other more western exercise too, attend gym, walking, sometimes kick scooting, gardening.
With D&T I have been doing it every morning on rising even on gym days and whenever I feel I need to after gardening or other fuzzy stuff in the day, it just helps to calm down, refocus and recharge I find.
I do other qigong practice also which can help with muscle stiffness after gardening for instance but have to say since doing D&T daily I don’t get as many aches from gardening.
Also I did cut down my gym from 3 days a week to 2 as I was finding the gym demands were becoming too tiring whereas the qigong exercises are always more energy giving I find more gentle for the body, more nurturing.
