I’m interested to know how stiking is done usualy in the Wu style Tai Chi Chuan.
In the form usualy the movements begins (after the step) with closing and then striking id done with opening.
In practical use (at the real speed) I usualy strike with the weight dropping (shifting the weight). So I transfer the weight to the foot and in the same time I strike. What is your opinion about the “separation” of the weight transfer and strinking? Should not be done at the same time?
