Not sure what Bruce has in his plan, but if he could spend some time teaching how to do kicks in Tai Chi, that would be highly appreciated.

I agree. The crescent kick at the end of the Yang long form still remains quite a mystery to me, not to mention a physical challenge after specializing in low kicks for the last twenty something years.

I wonder if his intention might be to not include what is covered in his other materials (like the Tai Chi Beginners Program or even Tai Chi Mastery program), or in Tai Chi Classes.. and focus upon what isn’t usually included (or if he might include time in this material to cover some related parts)… but I’d just offer a piece (my opinion/exper)

In the ‘Live Class’ Mastery-Cloud Hands this month.. the bit about energy up leg into guts (thus spine as well as lower-dan-tien) and then down through the supporting leg.. and then “rebounding back up that leg- thru- and then back out that ‘lifted/suspended leg’ (either stepping-leg or “kicking-leg’) <this "rebounding" not breaking the root in the process, and related to the An/sinking resulting in a Peng/rising (not intended-efforted lift).. with the same connection of the change, not break from the flow. etc. I know in the Bagua NeiGung (more my understanding then the TaiChi chuan) that is foundation that has to be sustained while reach and "contact" with the foot/leg as an impact, without that "reaching" breaking the chi flow…. (doing the move vs being in the chi-gung type drill- I find difficult).
I’m thinking/hoping the emphasis will be upon the “int’l components” and how to make it “work” (what powers it) vs the shape and details (which is in TaiChiMastery as well as in classes)…
so I don’t know if that might add something to what you mean

(or if you meant the tactics and details of a kick- have you seen the video he did in the past, not sure if it still offered new from this website of Yang Style Fighting applications, some clips related of Bruce on YouTube.. as well as in the DVD Taoist Energy Arts, which is part of the “internal-martial-arts-chi-collection”….. also details in his book on Martial Arts… -my bias, from my exper, is from how I had to find little bits here and bits there in his teachings/writings and assemble them. (the biggest thing for step which is a touch= a kick, requires staying stable before and at the moment of, even after that impact– alignment and most of all the quality of mind. (then the “unrelated” stabilization” of the Aura and centre is a bigger part of that, to have as a foundation…. stillness in motion..)

look fwd to reading what you, and others, discover.. luck- g
