I have heard that standing and arm swinging will further helpl in opening up my painful left arthritic kwa in addition to the
exercise for Dragon & Tiger. Are these specific exercises found in Energy Gates book which I also own? Thank you,
syldreams@verizon.net
Hi Sylvia,
The EG gates exercises I recommend to try from the Energy Gates book are to learn the standing alignments (which we briefly touched on in the online course), the leg work for the Cloud Hands exercise (no arm motions necessary), and then the first swing while keeping your arms totally relaxed. These all should be learned and done very slowly and carefully so that you feel that they are relaxing and releasing your kwa at all times. As in D&T moves 2 and 7, only turn as far toward your right side as you can turn to your weaker left.
Thanks for your interest and good luck with your explorations and practice,
Bill
