At the risk of making a complete ass of myself on the forum yet again, I have a metaphor of the mind to mind transmission that I find quite helpful.
Do you remember those arts and crafts pictures, where you get a board that has a black surface, but underneath there is vague impression of a large and complex picture? Your task is to carefully and diligently scrape along the hidden markings on the board. And when you scrape the lines, they turn out to be a brilliant white. Following the process to the end, you end up with the picture magnificently revealed. Remember those?
