AnonymousGuestHi guys,
I have been practising Dragon and Tiger for over six months now and my acupuncturist has stated that I am showing signs of a ‘weak’ Kidney Yang. Is there anything I can do to improve this beyond the Dragon and Tiger routine? Or is there something I should focus on specifically in the Dragon and Tiger routine to help in this area?
Having said this, I find Dragon and Tiger very beneficial. I have noticed that my body is lighter and more flexible from doing Dragon and Tiger. I find it easier to obtain stillness in my sitting meditations and when I get up from meditation, I get up without feeling stiff. The practice releases tightness in my neck and shoulders from working on a computer most of the day, so it’s definitely part of my daily routine.
Generally in the practise of Qigong can one and should one change their routine and focus on a specific area to help bring themselves back into balance?
Thanks

AnonymousGuestI would like too to know what is beneficial for Kidneys.
Can you recommend something?May 1, 2015 at 2:32 am #133978
AnonymousGuestHey Denis,
The first and second swings in the energy gates chi gung set can help strengthen the kidneys. You can find out more about them in the book “Opening the Energy Gates of the Body”
Hope this helps,

AnonymousGuestHi Janak!
I also guess doing sinking chi while standing or doing tai chi strengthens the kidneys as well?
