    Hi,

    I wanted to ask:

Will it be more beneficial if I use along with San Ti, I Chaun postures to complement my Chi workout?

For example, when I cannot stand in San Ti, switch to I Chuan for another session to complete my workout?

    Hi George,

Personally, I like to let a single posture, especially San Ti, “marinate”, so I try not to do too many in one single session. What I mean is that when I work one posture, there are distinct effects, so afterwards, I want to get a clear sense for what that posture did to my system.

Now, I know some of the I Chuan routines work slightly differently…..

I would agree with that. A few times I’ve had breakthroughs which I haven’t been able to replicate because I don’t know what it was that led to me achieving it.

I’m not sure what your background is in yi chuan but but here is a pretty cool video that might give you some ideas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjszaxJuZTU&context=C4b72aeaADvjVQa1PpcFNIFc9YePl0MidjOI1ckHcC01YX4cVNnmQ=
Working on proper alinement of bones and muscles, breathing and maxim muscle output is always good.
