I´ve just finished REPULSE MONKEY and began going over SLANTED FLYING.
I got confused because I finished REPULSE MONKEY with my right foot in front and my right hand up and my left hand down. Then I was expecting the next movement to begin from there. But Bruce began explaining the next movement from a different stance: left foot in front, left hand up and right hand down.

If you have access to the energy arts training circle forum it is the thread titled “repetitions of repulse monkey or which leg is in front in slanted flying”.
The thread should be at the bottom of the first page.
Also the thread “Slanted Flying” on the second page of the forum.

Hello there- I think I understand your question, I’m not sure if you are referring to (and/or if you have re-watched the “overview” and “movements of” videos of that lesson).. – I thought I recalled this movement set being shown a number of times (although it helps to walk through along with it- vs just watching), but all the turning and twisting is a bit confusing, as well as does things to the mind/confusion.

You might be referencing the step with your lead-R ft to your left (as you pivot 90 degree) and “Make a ball”.
–that is not left-foot in front, but rather both feet parallel (regular stance), and then pivot and step back with Right-foot.. etc. (but perhaps you meant something else- in between this? I thought in one of the videos he emphasized the ‘make a ball’ a bit)..

While you wait for a response to your post you may have watched the rest of the videos, and then started at the first of the lesson/month again.. reviewing (knowing what is coming- you can see more) might help —I only mention as I frequently see what I missed the first (or even second) time, and I’ve seen him teach much of these principles before, but put all together like this takes a bit to settle.

    luck
