Hi Paul,
I just wanted to say thank you again for such a great course. I have done what I could in the midst of a busy semester and with the new year around the corner things should clear up so I can go back over the material in more depth. Still, it has been a wonderful experience and I have learned much. This practice coupled with a few others that were transmitted to my by another teacher have given me years worth of material to work on.
I feel like this will fit perfectly into my existing meditation practice each morning that I do for 30 minutes, and the timing could not be better. I hope to expand my practice to include more standing work and the 5 keys should provide a very solid foundation. I just turned 33 a few months ago, so right now my goal is to do everything I can to maintain and hold onto the health I have in my prime, so that as I grow older I may continue to enjoy that health. From what I have seen, following the Way is the only guarantee that I can maintain my health, and maybe some day either in this life or another down the road even become an immortal, able to actually help humanity in the greatest way possible without the limitations and vices from physicality and ego…I want to transcend those to help on a greater scale…and from what I feel the Tao is the path that calls to me the most to help me get there.
That is what I believe and it is what I inspire to…then again, I believe in a lot of things most would just write off without a single thought. Still, I will try. Any advice you can give to a young adept just starting his journey on the path would be appreciated, as I know I have a long journey ahead of me.
