In our community neither tai chi nor Qi gong classes are available. I want to learn one of them, but even after reading a bit did not get really the difference other than qi gong is a simplyfied form of tai chi. I did yoga in the past but I missed a bit the spirritual meditative side. I am 53, physically fit, do ballet, sometimes yoga and a lot of physical work outside.
I am interested i the connection between the body and the spirit.
I have a book which explains the six healing sounds by Mantak Chia, but I saw a viedo on youtube by Sat Hon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezTrI7_jluI, which I found so much more inspiring. First his moves look like a dance second he chants instead of just saying the sounds. His movements are different than explained in the book. And in the book you sit on a chair which does not really inspire me. However, I find it difficult to work with this movie. I don’t even know weather this is a good way to start.
