Recently during meditation I encountered some interesting ( yet familiar)bodily sensations. I felt very open, connected and relaxed. This was accompanied with a feeling of my body ( either physical or etheric, I’m not sure which) feeling very soft, sensitive and amorphous . While this was occurring I remembered where I had last felt this sensation.
It was about 12 or so years ago when I was experimenting with magic mushrooms, only i suspect the sensation back then was a bit more intense. Anyways, I was unable to connect this with an emotional signature but I couldnt help but feel like I had somehow made some small progress.
I realize that I have not even scratched the surface that is the potential of the body, mind and spirit in the realm of meditation. I find it humbling and inspiring to imagine what accomplished meditation masters are capable of perceiving.
It would be interesting to hear other peoples experiences as well.

Sometimes I feel something like that, very rearely though. With me it might happen if I stand about 30 minutes in wu ji doing deep relaxation and after that assume holding a tree posture. I thought this could be what Jwing-Ming Yang describes as embrionic breathing in his book. The duration of this state is short, 2-3 minutes at most. I guess this short time is an indication I need more practice.

Does anybody experience spiraling? According to Dan Kleiman’s lates podcast (interview with Isaac K.), spiraling is the next thing that would naturally happen after deep dissolving (or so I understood).
