Hi All,
In the Hsing-I DVDs, Bruce shows how to begin one’s practice of San-Ti (with that arm movement that is so similar to the Bagua arm warmup movement for the SPC).
But nowhere in the DVD set is it mentionned how one should close the practice, esp. regarding the final storing and/or release of energy in the Tantien.
Can/should it be done as described for I-Chuan postures ?
Can/should another movement similar to the opening arm movement be used to close the practice ?
What should the intent be at the close of practice ?

From the classes I’ve been to, end the training same as I Chuan or Ba Gua: with hands at the lower tan tian, gather the energy, condense the energy, store the energy, release any overabundance of energy, then go on about your day.

Thanks Jess, you’re a great help, as always.
