    Guys,
When standing, i notice that unless i can keep the shin and knee absolutely perpendicular to the foot the cap will begin to lock and the back of the knee will begin to close, even with the slightest angle forward. At the same time the ankle will begin to close forward as well. But it is difficult to straighten the lumbar spine and tuck the butt without the knees and below wanting to angle forward a little. If i keep the lower legs perpendicular then when tucking the tailbone i almost want to fall backwards, regardless of how well i drop everything internally. So is it more important to keep the back of the knees open completely with the emphasis running up the back of the leg and keeping at 90 degrees? Or is a little closing of the knee, as long as still behind the start of the toes, ok to get the proper tucking and rooting? Please help.
    Patrick
