AnonymousGuestIn the health section of the Tai Chi mastery material there was reference to making small circles with the hands around the liver. It also mentioned that the motion of the shoulders when circling would also help shift the stuck energy. Unfortunately I can’t visualize what the circling motion should be – i.e. would it be circling around the waist like in Dragon and Tiger or doing an assymetric positioning with both hands over the liver on the right side. Is there anywhere on the Energy arts site where there is a diagram or a video of the movement?

AnonymousGuestHi Paul
Because of the circular nature of Tai Chi your right hand passes your right midrift you’ll be stimulating your liver.
But more specifically the last part of the move Turn body and chop with fist into Step forward parry and punch is particularly good for clearing liver stagnancy (lesson 71-77). Through this you are tracing a small vertical circle with your right hand between the bottom of your ribcage and the hip to stimulate the liver and then releasing it with the punch.
Hope this helps,

AnonymousGuestThanks Peter, but I was wanting the specific movement for circling the arms that was not in the Tai Chi form but in Qigong section of the Tai Chi for health part of the program.
