    Hello group,
my name is Stefan and I am from Lake Constance in South Germany (Border to Switzerland and Austria). Although I´m practicing D&T (with some longer breaks) for about 2 years, I hope to get to the deeper layers of this beautiful qigong-form with this course and more smoothness of my movements. My main practice ist yang-style taiji and some standig qigong.
My best whishes for all attendants of this course,
    Stefan

My name is Adam, I’m from London, England.

I have practised various forms of Qigong over the years. Such as
Mantak chia, Sifu Wong View Kit and Al Simon. I’ve studied in classes, with books and DVD’s and online.

I have learned some energy Arts progams via books and DVD including Dragon and Tiger.

I damaged my shoulder over a year an had to stop all Qigong and Tai Chi practises. I had an operation on my shoulder at the end of 2011 and am now ready to start qigong again.

I have a bit of a monkey mind and tend to learn lots of things at the same time, and though I get to be reasonably competent, I never get to master any of the forms I learn.

My goal is to learn D&T and to stick with it. This will be my form for 2012.

I hope we all learn a lot and have fun.

    Adam

Hey, everyone! I’m currently living in Maine, I have been studying with Bruce for about 15 years now, and doing Dragon and Tiger for about the same amount of time. I’m very psyched about this course, as I’ve been focusing on Dragon and Tiger this winter. I am hoping there is some intermediate level material being covered in the course, and I’m sure there will be, but I also know it never hurts to go back to the basics.

Hi all my name is Earl.

I have just become an Energy Arts member very recently , and have been using various materials of Bruces to help with pain and energy blocks.
I am finding the materials very useful and powerful and Have signed up on this course to learn valuable lessons in learning the Dragon and Tiger Qi Gong Style, with the intention to heal myself and one day hopefully being able to show others how to use this art to heal them selves.

I hope to meet like minds and learn and share with others who wish to see the arts of the east integrate with western society.

I hope to see and play a role in the integration of eastern arts into the west, In the belief that the healing arts of the east can bring about social well-being and change from the ground level up.

    Hello all,

I’m Dan. I’ve been practicing daoist martial arts qigong and meditation for a number of years now from a couple of teachers, and I’ve had some contact with Bruce and other energy arts instructors through seminars books and DVDs.

Dragon tiger seems very easy to learn with very high yield benefit and I’m looking forward to add it to my practice

    Hey everybody.
Im Andrew and I have been practicing daoist martial arts off an on for around 3 years. I have had a lower back and pain in my upper back/trap for around 2 years. One month ago I started back up and from sinking and dissolving alone have almost healed. I mix it up with 5 or 10 minutes of I chuan and cloud hands. I am looking to this practice to increase my awareness of my energy and keep it from being stuck in one place. I am grateful to be taking this class with all of you. Thank you Energy Arts.

Hello everybody. I am Valorie, a 46YO woman in southwest Missouri in the United States. I have dabbled but never really trained in various internal & external martial arts–in part because I thought you must be perfect.

I signed up for this course because it is (1) “simple” and (2) specifically because it states don’t worry about doing it perfectly, simply do it!

I hope we will all enjoy this class & interacting in this forum.

    Best wishes,
    Valorie

    Hi Adam.
Another part of my challenge is that I also tend to spread myself thin with several different practices and master none. I guess I get too excited. As Mr. Miyagi said in “The Karate Kid,” I must “learn focus”!

Hi Catherine. Well, look at this, I didn’t pay attention to where I clicked the reply button in speaking to Adam. (Talk about monkey mind!)

I had a very good teacher once, an american Taoist priest, and if I had concentrated better I’m sure I would be much further along today. I admire people who can stay disciplined and am envious you were able to do it with a good teacher like Bruce.

    Hi Richard.
Thanks for teaching this course. I hope I am a good student to you.

I’m going to ask this question I have been burning to ask someone forever (and this is to Catherine as well):
How can you afford these live workshops, and the teacher trainings? I don’t make that much money and they just cost so much!

    Hi Earl.
The reason why I have become so interested in internal arts like Dragon & Tiger is because I want to heal myself. I have been out of sorts for years, was first misdiagnosed with fibrolyalgia, but after 5 years I have finally been proven right that it is hypothyroidism. I would like to become well enough to take little or no thyroid medication.

    Hi Stefan.
I’ve never known anyone from Germany. Good to meet you :) I have done very little Yang family Qigong.

    Hi Danielo.
Yes, that was a factor in my choosing Dragon & Tiger over other Qigong forms.
