    Hi Folks,

I’m Evan and I live in Sydney, Australia (hi Fiona).

I have been around massage and pins (acupuncture) and so on for a couple of decades but never found a movement practise that was right for me. I am pretty poor at the kinaesthetic stuff and often just the basic movements of different forms required precision and perception I just don’t have. Some tai chi classes have been nightmarish.

So it is a huge relief to me that with Dragon and Tiger I can just do it and then keep refining.

What I am looking for is a form that provides overall benefits that can be done in a fairly brief space of time. So Dragon and Tiger sounds ideal.

I would like to praise Bill for his clarity of explanation. I must have heard the body alignment explained dozens of times and Bill’s is easily the best I have heard.

And kudos too for making the course affordable.

Looking forward to learning the form and interacting with you folks, Evan.

    Hello everyone!
My name is Alex Horvath. I have just moved to Fort Myers, Florida after losing my home in Bastrop Texas during the Labor Day wildfires in 2011.

I have been practicing Qigong for 4 years now on my own. I am self taught from books & DVDs. I primarily do Eight Pieces of Brocade style but want to deepen my practice. I also do yoga. I recently having been cultivating some Taoist practices also. I feel as if I have come a long way since I first began.
Physically, I feel so much better since doing my practice. I am really looking forward to this class & so far really enjoy it.

It is really great to see so many people taking this course from all over the world.

    I wish you all success.

    Alex

    Hi, my name is Terry.
I am a retired science teacher from Clifton Colorado. My current practice includes a long form of Yang Tai Chi, and push hands.

I’ve always enjoyed good health, yet a couple years ago I underwent quad- bypass surgery. I feel great now and I’m looking for Dragon & Tiger as a long term way of maintaining and even improving that feeling.

    Glad to meet you all,

    Terry

    Hi all,

My name is Cam and I am living in Lucca, Italy. I took several weekend D&T seminars with Bill back in the late 90’s and also took Tai-Chi Short Form courses in Brookline, Ma. As fate would have it, my teachers of Taoism and Qi gong (Marco Ragghianti and Silvia Gusmaroli) in Lucca are students of Bruce and have been teaching D&T. Unfortunately, due to scheduling, I have not been able to do more than study Wu Tai Chi with them.

So, I am looking forward to picking up D&T fundamentals again and have always appreciated Bill’s teaching approach.

    peace,

    Cam

    Hi Everyone

My name is Lucy Amis, I live in London, UK and I’ve been practicing Tai Chi and various Energy Arts Qigongs since about 1999/2000 (lost track). I’ve done a number of instructor trainings with Bruce Frantzis including Dragon & Tiger, Heaven & Earth and most recently Wu Style Tai Chi short form. When I’m not doing that I do freelance research & writing on Companies and Human Rights which can get heavy and heady, so the Qigong’s a blessing and major stress-buster for me.

I’ve been wanting to do more Dragon & Tiger lately, and know Bill’s the guy for this, so this course seems a like a nice win-win. Enjoying it a lot so far.

Thanks very much for running it folks

    Lucy

    Hi Everyone,

I am Steven from Singapore. I have been training CMA for quit a few years, mainly hard/soft styles such as Pai Mei and Wing Chun.
I got to know about Bruce 6-7 years ago when I bought Opening Energy Gates, bought all his videos and have been practicing his level 1 Qigong, 6 exercise actively. Thought quite some time about learning Dragon/ Tiger Qigong and this course is a great initiative.
I am very happy and excited about this on line learning opportunity.
    Happy Training,
    Steven

Hi! My name is Larry, and I live in Avondale, Arizona. I am taking the online “Dragon and Tiger” course with Richard. So far, I enjoy it very much. The instruction is clear and very helpful.

I am 61 years old now with parents who are very much alive at 89 and 88 years of age. There is very little disease in my family, and so I figure I better get the energy moving to remain as limber as possible. I will probably be around here for a long time to come.

I am very much into energy work having taken all kinds of seminars and workshops. I really enjoy online education opportunities.

    Nice to meet you all!

Hello all. I’m Rob Humphreys from Currimundi, Queensland, Australia. Its only a small place so don’t expect to see anyone else from here. Its nice to know there are others from Aus as well, though. I’m a retired farmer though I did lots of other things in my life before farming.

I’m relatively new to energy work though I’ve been learning a bit from books and DVDs over the last couple of years.

When Bruce offered this course I jumped at the opportunity to tune my energy and to clear the blockages that have caused a number of odd little ailments. It’d be really great to be able to heal myself initially and learn how to do it for others later.

The other reason why I was so happy to sign on is that I recently started the bagua mastery course and haven’t been able to focus or flow the energy as instructed. I hope this course will do just that and I can get out of the rut that I seem to be digging for myself.

I’m also a tiger (Chinese sign) so greetings to Kaualani.

    Hi Alex,
I’m very sorry to hear about you losing your home in the fire. I lived in the Lost Pines, but moved away about 5 years ago, and now live in the hill country. Ironically, my house that was in the pine forest burned down about two years ago – before the current fire had a chance to claim it. I’ve been over there twice to survey the damage, and it’s quite a
profound sight. I wish you well in Florida.

    Hi, All,
I had the good fortune to study with Bill at Brookline Tai Chi for several years. I still live in the greater Boston area. I’ve gotten away from my tai chi and chi gung practice and I’m finding this online course an excellent way to re-enter my practice.

It’s very inspiring to see how far reaching this practice has become, and to meet people from around the world who are benefiting from it.

    Hi,
    I’m Hans and Switzerland based.
I’m just very happy being able to participate. Initially I started exercising Dragon and Tiger November 2009 while participating at a Basel workshop held by Bruce at Alexis place.
This on-line class now helps me to complete all movements and refine everything.
Many thanks to Bill and team to make this happen!
    Best regards,
    Hansruedi
