Hi, I am Anne Marie and I live in England near the Ashdown Forest. I learned Dragon & Tiger some years ago but my teacher did not focus on it all that much. I bought the DVD last year and really enjoyed doing it. I am hoping to get a more in depth approach with this course. It is a set I think is good for the spring and summer and I especially like doing it outside though there is snow on the ground in England now so I will wait for the warmer weather.

I’m Joan and I live in London. I have been trying to practice from books but it’s hard. I got interested because I have always had lots of energy but it’s very chaotic and now coming up to 74 I know I must find a new way of being. I am aware it will take a long time to change the habits of a lifetime, but I’m glad I’ve got started , and I’m hoping to avoid my usual problem of giving up when I don’t see enough progress. It’s good to be encouraged to keep going even if you’re not that good at it.

Hi guys, my name’s Philippe. I’m delighted to be part of this group. This is what I was waiting for since I couldn’t attend any of Bruce’s event, so far. So, the online course is best for me due to logistics, cost and time issues. It does fill a gap for many of us, I believe. I’m French but lived in Asia for the last 20 years. I’m back to France and arrived one year ago for my two daughters to learn French in France (Yeah, it’s obviously best). I’ve been practising Yoga, Kung-Fu, TaiJi Chuan and Qiqong over the last 15 years with various Chinese teachers, even in China, and met many con men along the way. Despite practising daily, something was missing and I was stagnating. Finally, I discovered Bruce’s teachings few years ago and it was just what I was desesperately looking for. For the first time, I felt I was on the right path and now, I do heal myself. I hope that all of us will benefit from this course and find the necessary time to practise regularly. It’s such a unique occasion to have ‘Bill in your living room’ :-)) Cheers. Philippe

Hi Everyone! It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to be part of this online course and share question and what not with everyone. Thanks also to everyone who has put it together. Getting a late start this week with a cold. I am in the Detroit Mi area and we just got a few inches snow finally. I have been to various courses with the energy arts but have been a poor student. I think Bill has made dragon and tiger fool proof even for students like me. Cheers everyone and much success.

    Greetings to you all,

My name is Chris Cinnamon. I live in Chicago, have practiced external martial arts for many years, then came across Bruce’s book “The Power of Internal Martial Arts and Chi.” I have been exploring the EA system ever since, with a highlight being the Wu Short Form Instructor Training last summer. Based on that experience, I have started teaching Beginning Tai Chi classes, helping to spread the benefits of Tai Chi and the Wu Style Short Form here in central Chicago.

Planning to attend the D&T training this summer. Great to have access to a virtual Bill Ryan to help prepare for that.

    Enjoy your practice!

    Best,

    Chris

Hi, I’m George, I’m 53 and live in the SF Bay Area. I take classes with Isaac & Jesse.

I’ve been doing Dragon & Tiger for a bit over a year now, learned it from Bruce’s DVD (and book). I work in a very high stress job and have some health issues (liver) and one weak knee, so I’m using D&T along with the practices of Opening The Energy Gates, Heaven & Earth & Bending the Bow.

Like Catherine I’m hoping there is information in this course beyond what is in the book and DVD. Even though the information in week one seems like “stuff I already know”, after doing the week one exercises (and my regular daily practices), I’ve felt a big increase in sensation in energy moving in my leg channels.

Hello All. I’m in the UK not far from Manchester. I’ve been a student of the EnergyArts system for several years, attending workshops with Bruce, Paul Cavel and Jackie Smith when I can. This on line learning is a great opportunity to ‘connect’ with lineage teaching and to practice daily without compromising the day-job and domestic commitments/priorities. I know D&T quite well and really enjoy practicing ‘beginner’s mind’ to deepen my practice. I also find many of Bill’s more general teaching comments are equally applicable to other elements of the EnergyArts portfolio.

    Hi everybody,

I’m Gustavo, from Vic, not far from Barcelona, Spain.
I learned and began to practice from the book, then from the DVD. Now I’m doing it almost daily.
I’d use this opportunity to review and deepen my practice.
I’m also curious about the way Bill Ryan teaches Dragon and Tiger.
    I’m beggining right now.

    Good practice,

    David,
I am attempting to see all of this as a new beginning. A way to reinvent myself. It truly is heartbreaking to see the damage not only to people’s lives, but to nature as well. But nature rejuvenates after a fire, & so will the good people of Bastrop.

    Thanks for your kind words,
    Alex

    Hi All!

I’m Wayne Hoyle, EnergyArts Instructor from Penn Valley, CA. (about an hour from Sacramento). I joined the course to review all that I have learned from Dragon & Tiger thus far. Always its a good idea to go back to the fundamentals and review especially with a good teacher like Bill and to get some useful teaching skills from one very experienced in the art of teaching. I have learned much from Bill over the years and know this is a good place to be.

    Relax and have fun!

    Wayne

    Hi everyone,

I’m Alex from Winter Park, FL and I have been practicing massage therapy for over 10 years. The physical therapy office that I work at is very “energy/chi” friendly as we integrate conventional and alternative approaches to rehab. My intent is to learn Dragon & Tiger well enough to be able to share it with our local community. Thank you Bill and the entire Energy Arts family for making this information more easily accessible.

    Good training to all!

Hello Larry! We must get together. I live in Waddell, Arizona. My name is Dolores. I have studied martial arts since I was a very young child. I have always been interested in deeper aspects of any art. Taijutsu is and always will be my favorite martial art. However due to lack of instructors in my area, I cannot study it. My interest is now on inner arts. I am highly senstive to energy fields. Learning to intergrate the internal with the external is very important to me. I have practiced qi gong and learned D&T with Steve in New Mexico. I miss Albq, NM btw. I was born in the Year of the Dragon!
