New Students Welcome!

Tai Chi is an ancient and powerful exercise system. Its beautiful flowing movements are designed according to the principles of Chinese medicine to circulate blood and chi life force. Regular practice will transform your life by increasing health and vitality, smoothing out emotions and calming the mind. This Wu Style short form is a condensed and easy to learn. It contains the essential inner workings extracted from the traditional long form of Tai Chi.

In just one week you can learn a gentle yet powerful healing form that you can practice and will benefit you for the rest of your life. Craig will teach the sophisticated and often secret internal methods that give Tai Chi its power making this course beneficial not only as an introduction to beginners but also for practitioners who want to improve their understanding and skill.

Master Frantzis was taught, empowered, and encouraged by his teacher, Liu Hung Chieh, to create short forms that would be more easily absorbed and practiced by Western Tai Chi students. He passed it on to Senior Instructor Craig Barnes who has been practicing, teaching, and refining the form for decades.

What You Will Learn

Senior Instructor Craig Barnes will take us through the full Wu Style Short Form in a 6 day intensive, covering the choreography and internal methods of traditional Tai Chi  as much as can be accomplished in this short timeframe.

To make the most of any of this summer’s events and achieve the best personal growth, it is recommended to attend all 3 weeks in-person.

Senior Instructor Craig Barnes

Craig Barnes is a Senior Instructor in the Energy Arts system and has been practicing and teaching tai chi, qigong, meditation, and the internal arts for over 30 years. He has studied actively with Master Frantzis since 1987 and has taught his own courses all over the world. He is one of only a few instructors who have been authorized by Master Frantzis to certify instructors in his system. Craig is known for his gentle yet thorough approach, and his ability to present complex material in a direct way that makes it come to life and take root.

The Benefits of Attending In-Person

In-person attendance is always recommended. Bruce and Craig respond directly to those they see practicing in the room and adjust accordingly.

  • Hands-on adjustments from Senior Instructors.
  • Priority during Q and A sessions.
