From Sunday night, May 15th, into the early morning on Monday, May 16th, you have an opportunity to tune into the energies of a total lunar eclipse. This celestial event will be visible over South America, most of North America, and parts of Europe and Africa. Whether you can see it or not, you can still tune into and feel its effects and, therefore, take advantage of the opportunity this eclipse offers.
In this article, I will give you a link to a practice you can follow during this lunar event.
Manifesting the Yin Energy of the Moon
Taoists have always looked at the movement of the heavenly bodies in a myriad of ways and used celestial events to tap into the energy inside us. For the upcoming full lunar eclipse, you will fundamentally work with the yin energy of the moon in order to make it stronger in your body and mind.Â
Yin is a very subtle energy, so it’s fortunate to be able to work with it in a stronger form, such as an eclipse provides. Unlike Yang, which is quite visceral, yin is more gentle and amorphous. Yin feels physically empty, yet invokes a powerful inner feeling. When practicing with the moon, you will start to identify and feel what that is.
Something special about yin energy is that you can go further with it than when working with yang energy. Unlike Yang energy, where you should not exceed 70 percent of your capacity, yin has its own natural limit, which is difficult to surpass. With a full moon during an eclipse, you have the unique opportunity to manifest the yin energy inside of yourself to the best of your ability.
Lunar Eclipse Practice
Listen to this audio practice as I guide you through how to manifest the yin energy of a lunar eclipse. This practice can be done while standing, moving, or sitting. If you’re moving, it’s best to use just one or two simple movements that can be easily repeated.
When will it be visible again?
The next full lunar eclipse will be on November 8th, later this year. So don’t miss out on the opportunity this time around. Remember, you can still tap into the energy of the eclipse even if your eyes can’t see it.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this information and that you find it useful.

Amazing insight! Thank you. I guess I shouldn’t practice the Yang form so much then and there is no Yin form. 🙂
Hey wolf moon,
come cast your spell on me.
